MAY 9, 2017 – Following the success of last year’s 1v1 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Invitational, HTC and PGL are back with the HTC 2v2 Invitational by PGL. We’re excited to join these two major brands alongside HyperX as the official gaming chair sponsor of the event.

Today, the final pair for the event was unveiled. The full player list can be seen below.

The tournament is the first high-profile 2v2 tournament to ever be hosted in the realm of CS:GO. Last year’s champion, Richard “shox” Papillon of G2 Esports, saw a resurgence in form after staking his claim to the 1v1 throne; will this year’s tournament see a similar story with the winning pair?

Returning to the desk are Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett, Henry “HenryG” Greer, and Pala “Mantrousse” Gilroy Sen. Joining them is former Australian captain and current CS:GO analyst Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill. Like last year, the casters figure to be in the limelight, taking viewers through one of the most off-the-cuff broadcasts in esports.

Our chairs will be on stream throughout May 13-14 at twitch.tv/htc! Keep a look out for the promotion we will be running alongside the event.

Awesome Chair
Ordered the Spacestation Nebula while it was on sale and honestly expected the chair to be average at best. Was entirely wrong. Base is made of metal instead of plastic, wheels roll easily on carpet, the pillow and back support are insanely comfortable. Chair is extremely worth the price tag and then some.
