SEPTEMBER 8, 2017 – As a long supporter of collegiate esports and college gamers, we are proud to announce our further commitment to the community through our new partnership with Southwest Baptist University. Our Racing Series SL5000 chairs now decorate their gaming room to provide their aspiring young players with the ergonomic support and comfort necessary to grind out long practice sessions and matches.
Founded in 1878, SBU has demonstrated their prowess as a reputable institute of higher education in Missouri. Competing in 16 different traditional sports divisions, the university leapt into the esports foray one year ago and have shown dynamic growth ever since. The university now works with several sponsors to provide their young athletes with an environment and facilities comparable to the best. SBU believes that esports is an avenue like any other sport that can help cultivate a student’s education and passions, and we are aligned in that thinking.
Having launched our Student Program recently, we recognize the need to help college students out as they journey through higher education. With our new partnership with SBU, we are one step closer to the ultimate goal of seeing every aspiring college esports athlete seated in a premium ergonomic gaming chair.
