The console wars between Sony and Microsoft will continue to grow in anticipation regardless of launch rumors of both companies. Sony’s team developing the highly anticipated Playstation 5 was speculated to host a small reveal in 2019 by numerous analysts in the industry. With it’s anticipated 4k resolution support and 240FPS will truly be a breathtaking experience. On the other end, Xbox fanboys may be disappointed this year as the Xbox 2 is expected to be released in 2020, a year after the rumored PlayStation soft launch.

Update in PC Hardware  

A sneak peek into the rumors of the gaming hardware scene will get any die-hard PC fans salivating. Hardware manufacturers like Nvidia are rumored to launch the RTX 2060 to replace the popular GTX 1060 graphics card, but will have to be at the proper price point to truly be considered a replacement. AMD also has exciting developments under it’s belt with the possibility of the Zen 2 and Navi release and eventual rollout to consumer PC.

The continuous growth of streaming in the gaming community is no doubt a trend that will continue to snowball.
